The Puncher & Wattmann First Poetry Book Prize is open to any Australian who has not yet published a full-length book (we define a full-length poetry book as consisting of 32 pages or more). Poems in the submitted manuscript can have been published before. The winner will receive $1,500 and publication with Puncher & Wattmann. The judges for this year are Ed Wright and Ella Jeffery. The competition opens on September 17 and closes December 31, 2020. You will need to purchase a ticket on Eventbrite and send your entry to puncherandwattmann@bigpond.com. The winner will be announced in March.
