Willo Drummond lives and writes on Dharug and Gundungurra land. She has been the recipient of a Career Development Grant for poetry from the Australia Council for the Arts (2020), shortlisted for the Val Vallis Award (2022), runner-up in the Tom Collins Poetry Prize (2021), and her Ph.D. research into literary influence and creative cognition was awarded a Macquarie University Vice Chancellor’s Commendation for excellence. Willo’s poetry can be found in Cordite Poetry Review, Australian Poetry Journal, The Canberra Times, Plumwood Mountain Journal, and elsewhere. Moon Wrasse is her debut collection.
