Luoyang Chen was born and raised in a small town in Fujian, China and
has been living in Australia since 2017. Luoyang is the author of Flow (Red
River/Centre for Stories, 2023). Their poems have appeared in literary
journals including Overland, Australian Poetry Journal, Westerly, Cordite
Poetry Review, Portside Review, Foam:e, and Kalliope X. Luoyang’s poetic
interest in the lyric “I” attempts to investigate and resolute the issues around
positionality, dualism, migration, ethics of language, love, and home.
