Louise Crisp

Louise Crisp is the author of Yuiquimbiang (2019) shortlisted for the 2020Victorian Premier’s Literary Awards, and highly commended
in the 2019 Wesley Michel Wright Prize; and pearl & sea fed (1994) shortlisted for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards. An essay ‘Holding Pattern’ was runner up in the 2009 Wildcare Tasmania Nature Writing Prize. Her work has been published in many Australian literary journals and in the US and Hawai’i, broadcast on ABC Radio National and exhibited at East Gippsland Art Gallery. Louise Crisp is represented in anthologies including Contemporary Australian Poetry, Ashbery Mode and the Australian Anthology of Prose Poetry. She lives in East Gippsland on Brabralung (Gunaikurnai) country.
