Jake Goetz lives by a drowned valley estuary on Gadigal land. He has
published two collections of poetry, meditations with passing water (Rabbit
Poets Series, 2018), which was shortlisted for the Queensland Premier’s
Award, and Unplanned Encounters: Poems 2015-2020 (Apothecary Archive,
2023). He holds a Doctor of Creative Arts from the Writing & Society
Research Centre (WSU).
