Ellen Shelley is currently living in Newcastle NSW. Her poems have been published in: Eureka, Eucalypt, The Canberra Times, Cordite, Australian Poetry Collaboration, Raining Poetry in Adelaide, The Blue Nib, and Woman of Words amongst others. She was Highly Commended for the Philip Bacon Ekphrastic Award in 2019. Out of the Blocks is her first book.
