Anna Kerdijk Nicholson’s most recent book, Possession, won the Victorian Premier’s Prize for Poetry and the Wesley Michel Wright Prize and was shortlisted for the NSW and ACT Premier’s Prizes for Poetry. She was born in Yorkshire in England. After studying literature and qualifying as a lawyer post-graduate, she immigrated to Australia. She practises as a solicitor in Sydney and has served on the committee of the Poets Union Inc (NSW) and as a director of Australia’s national body for poetry.
